First and foremost, let’s give GLORY to GOD!!!
Christ the Savior Church brought grub and love today. Thanks for your commitment to coming alongside of MMUTB and helping others.
Mt. Zion Church came today and rocked the clothing room!!! Thanks for your commitment to helping the less fortunate and also for walking this path with MMUTB.
We are so blessed by others in the community to help with sharing the love of Christ!! Go JESUS!!
Steve shared today about Matthew 22:37 <http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+22:37&version=NIV> Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ Also about 1 Corinthians 13 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." That’s what we’re all about… the love.
Our clothing room is coming along real well, thanks to Marsha, and lots of volunteers! We are constantly needing volunteers to come in and sort, hang and keep us organized.
A new guy, Richard volunteered on Saturday and came back Sunday with his nephew Brandon. Brandon said he’d like to come again and serve. They were wonderful, serving then cleaning up afterwards. Thanks guys!!
Freddy is doing very well. Also KayLynn has been clean for 90 days!! We are so proud of them. Praise the Lord!!
I was talking to John from the river and he was eating an apple pie, another guy saw the pie and acted like he wanted some of it. John asked him if he wanted the other part, the guy said yes and was elated. I love how these folks take care of each other, they have each others back.
Matthew came by today, he’s hanging in there.
Please pray for Danny. It’s been a rough week. That’s all I want to say. Please pray.
We had probably 20+ of new people today that I’ve never seen before, thank you Jesus.
A big thank you to Don Hawkins at HRH for allowing us to serve lunch at his building on Sundays. Also to Richard Smith with Behind the Shadow for pictures and for keeping our website updated. Our Lord bless you guys.
Kathy.
